What if my RTI is rejected or ignored?
If the PIO does not reply in 30 days, you can file a **'First Appeal'** to a senior officer. If that fails, you can file a **'Second Appeal'** with the Information Commission.
Is RTI better than a normal complaint?
**Yes.** A normal complaint can be ignored, but an RTI **must** be answered legally. If a PIO delays it, they can be fined **₹250 per day** from their own salary.
