Death caused by an act done with intent to cause miscarriage
- Bailable Status: Non-bailable (Bail can only be granted by the Judiciary)
- Cognizable Status: Cognizable (Police can arrest without warrant)
- Triable Court: Court of Session
- Official Punishment: Imprisonment for 10 years and fine
If act done without women's consent.
- Bailable Status: Non-bailable (Bail can only be granted by the Judiciary)
- Cognizable Status: Cognizable (Police can arrest without warrant)
- Triable Court: Court of Session
- Official Punishment: Imprisonment for life, or as above
