  • Bailable Status: Bailable (Bail is a legal right — granted at police station)
  • Cognizable Status: Cognizable (Police can arrest without warrant)
  • Triable Court: Any Magistrate
  • Official Punishment: Imprisonment extending up to 2 years, or fine, or both
